We are a growing practice looking for an Experienced Intake Coordinator to provide superior service to our valued clients. You need excellent interpersonal communication skills in order to contribute to the team and communicate calmly and reassuringly with clients. Job duties:

  • Excellent computer skills and ability to use practice software systems.
  • Operate telephone to answer, screen calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling appointments.
  • Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
  • Check-in and check-out patients, collect payments, and schedule appointments.
  • File, scan, and maintain records.
  • Collect, sort, distribute, and prepare email, messages and courier deliveries.
  • Balance credit transactions and provide basic financial clerical support duties.
  • Assist with obtaining information from patients’ insurance provider(s) as needed to ensure payment.
  • Actively pursues providing excellent patient service.
  • Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner and appearance.
  • Must be able to comfortably and efficiently handle multiple deadlines and task assignments.
  • Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively.
  • Other duties and tasks, as assigned.
  • Assisting to credential providers and organizing employee files
  • Must be knowable in insurance network participation.
Experience:

  • Have at least two-year experience as a front desk/ Intake receptionist in a medical office.
  • Have at least one-year experience in a customer service role.
  • Skill in practice management software.
  • Have excellent attention to detail, organizational and follow-through skills.
Compensation: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
